Since EQ2 is a bit different from FR, it's going to take some getting used to. This means that people will likely need assistance in getting around, leveling up, and basically anything and everything else. We are trying to make the transition as easy as it possibly can be on members.
Chloe and I are available to help anyone who needs help. Chloe knows more than I do about this game, and she has spent more time messing around with it, so the best person to ask for help would be her. If she is unavailable, I would be more than happy to attempt to help you.
Also, a few websites you can go to get help are as follows:
You can also ask for our help in game on FR, EQ2, on this website, or on the new website. Feel free to text us on kik or oovoo at any time. I will be adding guides via request on the website eq-xiphos.webs.com so if you have a good question, Chloe and I will likely make a guide for it or add it to an already established guide.

I didn't feel like redoing this website, so I made another one especially for EQ Xiphos. The website is:
Use the same name as you do on here or on EQ or FR just to make things easier. Thank you.

For those of you who have not heard, we have chosen a new game. We wanted to choose a new game as soon as possible so people had more time to adjust to the game, since it will obviously be different from free realms.
That said, the chosen game is Ever Quest 2.
Q: Do I have to download it now?
A: Nope. It is suggested that you get the game and test it out. It isn't required until FR ends, but it is recommended. The game takes a little while to get used to. Getting a head start on that might be wise.
Q: How much space does it take up?
A: I honestly don't know for sure, but I would assume it takes up slightly more than FR. Don't quote me on that one though, I'm not positive.
Q: Will my rank stay the same?
A: The ranking system is slightly different on Ever Quest 2. As a result, your rank may go up one or down one. This doesn't mean much since there are more ranks. If you have any other more specific questions, you can ask me on FR.
Q: Will we still stay as Camp Half Blood?
A: The guild itself will be named Xiphos. We are still like Camp Half Blood, still the children of the gods, but we are focusing on a more mature approach to this.
Q: What is role play like?
A: I can't say for certain yet, but I can say once we get into it we can go more in depth than ever before. I think it's going to be pretty intense, but we will also have some laid back, relaxing events for those of you who aren't into heavy RP stuff. All in all, RP will only improve ten fold with this game.
Q: Will we have a Camp?
A: Not exactly. We will have a guild house, and eventually a guild hall, but we will not have a camp like from the books.
Q: You said the guild would be named Xiphos. What does that mean, and why not name the guild Camp Half-Blood?
A: The word Xiphos is a Greek word. It means double-edged sword. We aren't naming it Camp Half Blood for a few reasons. Ask me or one of the other leaders on the game for more information.
Any more questions? Ask Xavier, Isis, Chloe or me in game or on kik. If you are unable to make the move, I understand and do hope you will keep in touch via the website, oovoo, or kik.

Alright people, I've heard a lot of buzz about this in the past twenty four hours. For those of you who haven't heard, come March 31st, 2014, Free Realms will forever be finished.
I first wanted to say that, while things may never be the same again, we will always have each other and the memories.
There are a few ways we can remain in-touch, should our plans fail:
And, of course, this site.
If you have any questions about kik or ooVoo, you can either reply to this post or send a message to my inbox.
Now then, moving on. Our plan.
The plan is quite simple, actually, one which I assume many of you saw coming. There isn't really much time to waste. We have to find another game within the next two months, and then form a guild on there and build a camp. It is going to be hard, and I know many of us will not survive the move. The only way our guilds can survive is if we all work together.
Now then, we've been looking into other games and many people have offered to test them out. We would greatly appreciate it if you wanted to test any games you think would be a suitable substitute for FR.
A few of the games we've been looking into:
For the extended list, please visit the forums under the category Announcements. It should be the first post you see, titled Sunset.
If you have any questions or suggestions, or know of a world suitable to host our guilds, feel free to say something in the comments.
-We are trying to edge away from anime-like games, because not everyone will like something like that-

Due to recent abuse of the site by a certain member whose account is being deleted, I would like to send a reminder out to all of you that while there are rules that are clearly stated, some of them are "understood" rules.
Apparently I've overestimated the intellegence level of some of these members (you know who I am talking about) which is why I feel the need to state this rule plain and simple.
There will be, under no circumstances, cursing for no apparent reason. I do understand that some of you consider cursing to be expressing yourself, or that it's a word in the dictionary and you have full right to use it, but because of the fact that some people take these things as offensive, I would like to point out that while cursing is okay on some levels, extensive cursing and/or foul language can, and will, lead to your account being demoted or removed.
This isn't meant as a reprimand toward all of you, more of a reminder not to use this kind of language extensively. Keep in mind, this site has a variety of ages on it.
If you cannot follow this rule for the good of the community, do it out of self respect.
